About Our Translation Services

Official Translations provides a full suite of professional certified translation services designed to meet the requirements of US institutions. Every translation is performed by a qualified translator and includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy confirming the translation is complete and faithful to the original document.

Our notarized translation service adds a U.S. notary public seal to your certified translation, which is required by many courts, DMV offices, banks, and government agencies. For documents intended for international use, our apostille service provides official authentication under the Hague Convention, recognized in over 100 countries worldwide.

We also offer standard translation for business and personal documents that do not require official certification, as well as specialized audio and video translation services for legal proceedings, depositions, interviews, and other recorded content. Visit our documents page to see the full range of document types we translate.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is a certified translation and do I need one? +
A certified translation is a translation accompanied by a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy, confirming that the translation is complete and faithful to the original document. You need one whenever a US institution — such as USCIS, a court, a university, or a government agency — requires an official translation of a foreign-language document.
How much does a certified translation cost? +
Our certified translations start at $29.95 per page (up to 300 words). Pricing is calculated automatically based on the word count of your document. Add-on services such as notarization (+$19.95), apostille (+$149.95), rush delivery (+$14.95/page), and hard copy (+$14.95) are available at checkout.
How fast can I get my translation? +
Standard turnaround is 24–48 hours depending on document length. Rush service is available for same-day or next-day delivery at an additional $14.95 per page. Your completed certified translation is delivered digitally to your email.
Is your certified translation accepted by USCIS? +
Yes. Our certified translations meet all requirements under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) and are accepted by USCIS for all immigration filings, including green cards (I-485), naturalization (N-400), marriage-based visas, student visas, DACA, and all other petitions.
What is the difference between certified and notarized translation? +
A certified translation includes a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy. A notarized translation adds an additional step: the translator’s signature is notarized by a U.S. notary public, adding a notary seal. Some courts, DMV offices, banks, and government agencies require notarization in addition to certification.
