Frequently Asked Questions
What is a certified translation and do I need one? +
A certified translation is a translation accompanied by a signed Certificate of Translation Accuracy, confirming that the translation is complete and faithful to the original document. You need one whenever a US institution — such as USCIS, a court, a university, or a government agency — requires an official translation of a foreign-language document.
What documents can you translate? +
We translate all document types including birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, academic transcripts, diplomas, driver’s licenses, passports, court documents, legal contracts, business licenses, bank statements, medical records, immigration documents, and more. If your document type is not listed, contact us — we can translate it.
How much does a document translation cost? +
Our certified translations start at $29.95 per page (up to 300 words). Pricing is calculated automatically based on the word count of your document when you upload it. Add-on services such as notarization (+$19.95) and apostille (+$149.95) are available at checkout.
Do I need to mail my original documents? +
No. Our process is 100% online. Simply upload a photo, scan, or PDF of your document through our secure order form. We translate from the uploaded copy and deliver your certified translation digitally to your email. Hard copy delivery by mail is available as an add-on.
Is your certified translation accepted by USCIS? +
Yes. Our certified translations meet all requirements under 8 CFR 103.2(b)(3) and are accepted by USCIS for all immigration filings, including green cards (I-485), naturalization (N-400), marriage-based visas, student visas, DACA, and all other petitions.
